Otto misure cautelari nei confronti di pubblici ufficiali accusati di intascare tangenti per favorire candidati di concorsi pubblici e/o loro genitori per accedere al Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco, nella Polizia di Stato, nell’ Arma dei Carabinieri e nella Guardia di Finanza.

E’ il risultato dell’indagine ”Par Condicio”, coordinata dalla Procura della Repubblica presso il Tribunale di Benevento e condotta dai militari della Guardia di Finanza – Gruppo Mobile Benevento, coadiuvati da personale del Comando Provinciale GDF di Benevento e supportati da finanzieri in servizio presso i Comandi Provinciali GDF di Napoli, Caserta, Salerno e Avellino. Impegnati nell’operazione un totale di circa 250 militari. Le misure cautelari sono in particolare tre custodie cautelari in carcere, due agli arresti domiciliari, due sospensioni da pubblici uffici o servizi e un obbligo di dimora.

Tra le persone coinvolte figurano un Vice Prefetto con funzione apicale in servizio presso il Ministero dell’Interno – Dipartimento dei Vigili del Fuoco, tre funzionari – uno in pensione e due attualmente in servizio – del Comando Provinciale dei Vigili del Fuoco di Benevento e Venezia, un militare dell’Arma dei Carabinieri, un militare della Guardia di Finanza ed un agente della Polizia di Stato. Sono accusati a vario titolo di associazione per delinquere finalizzata alla corruzione, corruzione e rivelazione di segreti d’ufficio.
